Simply Earth Essential Oil Recipe Box Review + FREE Diffuser ($49 Value)!
Guys! I am so excited to share this new company that I found a couple months ago – Simply Earth! Simply Earth provides natural home products including pure essential oils. They use only oils that are derived from the best GMO-free plants grown in the best locations and their oils are also GC/MS tested by a 3rd party to ensure they are 100% pure and untarnished.
I am still fairly new to essential oils and up until now, I’ve only been using it in my diffuser. I have been wanting to try to make my own natural products but I haven’t had time to look for recipes and purchase the items needed to make them. And then I found Simply Earth! Whoohoo!
Simply Earth makes it so easy to delve into the world of natural products and essential oils with their monthly subscription Essential Oil Recipe Boxes. Each box contains 5-7 recipes and all the ingredients needed to make the recipes. I received the March Simply Earth Essential Oil Recipe Box a few days ago and this month’s box is for soap making. I have never made my own soap before, so I was super excited to try it out! 😍
Check out the items that are in the March Simply Earth Essential Oil Recipe Box:
- Patchouli Essential Oil
- Bergamot Essential Oil
- Tranquility Essential Oil
- Wintergreen Essential Oil
- Aniseed Essential Oil
- Soap Molds
- Melt & Pour Soap Base
- 2 Empty 5 ml Bottle
- 6 Recipe Instruction Cards
The recipes for this month’s box are:
- Citrus Tranquility Diffuser Blend
- Earthy Sweet Diffuser Blend
- Citrus Soothing Oatmeal Soap
- Orange Cream Exfoliating Soap
- Earthy Sweet Soothing Soap
- Citrus Woods Exfoliating Soap
I had some oatmeal at home, so I decided to test out two of the recipes – Earthy Sweet Soothing Soap and Citrus Soothing Oatmeal Soap. The recipes were super easy to follow, but since I had never melted soap base before, I had to google the proper way to do this. You can melt the soap base using a microwave, but it could dry out the soap if it’s overdone. The alternative way is to use a double boiler (which I happen to have at home because my mom uses it all the time to make Chinese desserts), so I used that instead of the microwave since I wanted my soap to be perfect! 😊
While the soap was melting, I grounded up some oatmeal to use and once the soap melted, I followed the recipe and added in the essential oils and oatmeal. Then I poured the soap mix into the mold that was provided in the box and let it sit for a couple of hours.
And voila!! After a couple hours…look at my beautiful soap!! OMG – I am so impressed with how easy this is to make (and impressed with myself that I didn’t screw it up. 😂 ) But seriously…I don’t know if anyone can screw it up because Simply Earth gives you everything you need with instructions.
Overall, I am extremely pleased with the March Simply Earth Essential Oil Recipe Box. The only recommendation I have for them is to provide more detailed instructions on how to melt the soap for newbies like me, but a quick google search solved that problem. I can’t wait to try the soap and other recipes!
If you want to try your own Simply Earth Essential Oil Recipe Box, you can order yours for $39 per month, which is a great price to get 5 essential oils and all the extra things needed for the recipes! Even sweeter, right now when you order your first subscription, you can get a FREE Diffuser valued at $49 using code FREEDIFFUSER.
