Simply Earth Essential Oil Recipe Box + Choose FREE $40 Gift Card or FREE Oil ($10 Value)!

Simply Earth Essential Oil Recipe Box November FB

Are you looking for a way to save on essential oils?  Or are you looking for ideas on how to use essential oils to make your home more natural?  When I started down the path of switching to natural and organic a couple years ago, I had no idea where to begin.  I started off with changing the food I ate – but I quickly learned, many of the products in my home also contained harmful ingredients.  I started switching out products in my home for cleaning, health, beauty and personal care…but those got expensive very quickly!  I would stock up on those products when there was a good deal or sale, but those deals don’t come around as often as I would like. 🙂  So it only made sense to make some of my own products.

I heard a lot of essential oils but didn’t know very much about how to use them.  I was using them in my diffuser but I knew there were so many other uses for them so I started researching recipes.  I’d buy the essential oils individually and other items needed to make the product, but the costs were adding up as well.  How can I keep more money in my wallet while making my home more natural?  Enter Simply Earth.

20 Creative DIY Herb Gardens

20 Creative DIY Herb Gardens

With Spring coming around the corner, I’ve been thinking of doing a DIY herb garden so I can have fresh herbs to use when I need it.  This is a also a great way to save money so I don’t buy too much at a time.  When I get herbs from the farmer’s market (especially the thai basil and mint), they always come in a big bunch and I only end up using small portion of it before the herbs go bad and it is so wasteful.

I live in a townhouse and don’t have a big backyard to plant a garden…so I needed some find some creative DIY Herb Garden ideas.  I think my favorite idea is to do a hanging DIY herb garden using mason jars.  I had some Kohl’s cash that I needed to use up and found the New View Mason Jar Wall Plaque that will be perfect to use for my DIY Herb Garden.  I picked up two sets and I’m very excited to try it out!
